I always like to ski and hike on week days as opposed to the weekend. Of course I usually feel guilty about taking off from work. I got this item in my email and modified it a little...

There is a dangerous virus being passed around electronically, orally, and by hand.

This virus is called Worm-Overload-Recreational-Killer (WORK) If you receive WORK from any of your colleagues, your boss, or anyone else via any means DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your private life completely.

If you should come into contact with WORK put your jacket on and take two Good friends to the nearest grocery store. Purchase the antidote known as Work-Isolating-Neutralizer-Extract (WINE) or Bothersome-Employer-Elimination-Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.

You should forward this warning to 5 friends. If you do not have 5 friends, you have already been infected and WORK is controlling your life.

My addition: The next morning one should also perform Sickday Kall-in Initiation (SKI).

Camera is Sony DCR-HC90 ...several years old. I have been very happy with it. I am sure it has been superceded with several new models. Captured video with Windows Movie Maker and snagged the still shot off the video, even though the camera can capture adequate still shots on a mem stick.

It really helps to have the blue sky and sunshine to provide light and contrast.

Used AE - Snow and Beach so the bright snow doesn't push exposure down to darken subject skier too much.

Also, tried to keep the clips short and the vid quality high. The trade off is large 15 meg vids. But I would rather put out the high quality, especially for a beautifal day.

Additional Videos from Friday
