VK, I can't answer question 7, hence cannot vote.
Is your poll for americans only?
Otherwise, correct the question!

Polling is a great addition. Thanks AC.

Poleing is handy, too

No problem VK, I was just having a bit of fun.
Twisted humor that I have and all....

Thats way cool. Interesting how lots of people rank themselves as "Turn where I want and fast", and "never fall".

Way to go guys, I really enjoyed the poll!

Aside from age "years skied" would be a good demographic. Having two injurys that required professional assistance over one year of skiing is very different from 4 injuries over 40+ years of skiing.

Also days of instruction per year would probably be very interesting to our instructor friends. I guess they can put together their own poll.

Neat. Thanks for doing it.

This whole polling lark is a great addition. Well done.

Had to answer 'intermountain' on q7 to cover outside North Am.

Likewise, Rockskier - I live in the well known American Intermountain region of Hertfordshire.

So, VK, do I keep on voting repeatedly to view the results as we go along?

How would I know - I'm just a user as you are, not the programmer....... : : : :

I thought it would say something along the lines of you not being able to vote more than once if you try to do that and let you view results any time once you did vote.....

Sorry, no way to edit a poll -- but if you could edit a poll after polling started it would be totally worthless anyway (since different respondants would be answering different questions).

Just be careful when starting new polls! Or delete it and redo it if you miss something.

Kneale,
You shouldn't need to re-vote - I voted earlier, and I can click on the Results button, and it works. (although that might just be something AC has done just for me)

While I think some limited editing can be ok, as far as integrity of a poll (like adding another answer) I understand the reasons behind making polls without editing feature.

One bug in the poll I noticed is that when multiple answers are permited the percent is calculated based upon the number of positive answers not upon the number of respondents as it sould be.

Should I start a poll on whether we should restart this poll : :

I was tempted to check "my skis have a mind of their own"-that could be a good thing, too

I live in the well know intermountai region known
as Italy.

VK, instead of restarting the whole poll, maybe you could start one with just that question.

BTW, AC, I just went over to the Community section
and could see the POLL results of the Upgrade topics even if I hadn't voted (yet).

Second that:
"You may not view the results of this poll without voting." does not seem to work either - I was able to view those results too...
It appears to be working fine.

I played around with a few. It seems that once you click on the vote button even if you do not enter a vote tally the software allows you to see the results. when you finally "submit" your vote, then the software no longer allows you to click on the vote button. If you try to click on the results button before clicking on the vote button the software responds with a "you must vote" message.

That's what I found so far.

Gunna be a lot of "intermountain" people here ... hey I'm in to mountains so what else do I put!
Whether or not you can see the results without voting is determined by the person who starts the pole -- it can be done either way (dchan's loophole aside).

Since casting my first "EpicSkiPollVote" on this first poll, I've been unable to "vote" or "view results" in ANY of the polls.
Who were the others who put down 'ice' as their favorite conditions?
I was more or less joking--sorry to skew the results.

The Option "My skis have a mind of their own" - is that just to see who owns the new Head Intelligence skis?
