A) I dont need to be told what skiing is about. If the choice is meet up with friends by carrying and using a cell or skiing alone all day, screw nature Im skiing with my friends
B) Im with JohnH- WHO CARES IF SOMEONE ELSE IS TALKING ON A PHONE? WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL? ITS TALKING- if someone else talking on a lift is ruining your day, you may want to start hiking or riding single lifts or skiing Wednesday afternoons at Cannon. Whether its on a phone or to the person sitting next to them, they are just communicating.
C) Why does skiing need to be this big experience with nature and cell phones prohibit this? I talk for 2 minutes coordinating what Im doing later that day with someone and the rest of the time I can look at the trees or whatever. Maybe those 3 lost minutes on the phone will help me appreciate the rest of my time with nature. But if not, thats my problem, not someone whining about cell phones on a mountain.
