Michael
I plan to be at Bear Mt on Saturday. Will look for you on the deck near the door.

Me: Royal Blue jacket, Soloman boots (Red), dark gray pants, Blue gray helmet.

Also, gaper element, I carry my red boot with my poles stuck inside, over the shoulder, along with my skis. I do not feel that this is something to laugh at, but people do.

Phil, than you for not laughing.

Just look for the ray of sunshine that will be shining on us...(and you will also hear the harp music)

I will be in a red/grey jacket, grey pants. Slime Green Kryptons and blue Blizzard Titan Nines.

Sh**, I can't remember everyone's color schemes. I'm not sure if I will make it, but if I do, I hate to make the long drive and then have to ski alone all day; in fact my reason for going would be to have some company for a few runs, since I have been a solo skier since I got back to it last year.
At least until it goes beyond my ability; oh yeah, and maybe learn something while I'm at it.
So I'll be looking for the puke green boots, which I can remember since my Proton 12's are the same color.
I haven't been to Killington in memory.

Nice day but no Bears. Slick in the middle and 4" of new. Snowed all day. OL was in really good shape, guns on all day, soft. Top of the Bear quad was open with mostly natural snow and spots. Wery nice!

Here is a bit of a TR.

In attendence:
Philpug
Proskub (my son)
Dave Warren (a buddy)
Irip
Frgrtr
Crank
and two from K-zone

I got to the Bear base about 9:15 with plans for a pre run then to meet at 10. I run into Frtgtr (Bill) in the base, I see the lime Protons. Bill, Ty and I take a quick run with plans on meeting back at 10. We come back and gather some more attendies, Crank (stood out with his 20 y/old Lange Tii's) and the dudes from K-zone along with my friend Dave. Irip makes a snowy arrival. We head up for a couple of runs and amazingly we keep all 8 of us together for 2 whole runs. We kept up a pretty good pace through some varied conditions. Irip, shurely does and was tearing up the bumps on his slaloms until he had to take off and run as a pace setter. At this point we loose the two K zoners and are left with 5. Crank, Ty and I kept a bit of a pace and Dave and Bill met up with us over at Bear. Outer Limits was in great conditions and tool what was everl left of our legs. Ty and I hit Devils Fiddle for a couple of natural runs.

We did hop some rocks, but due to parking at Bear vs. the base area, the shopping portion was postponed.

I had gotten there early, taken 2 runs, and was shedding layers in the lodge when Phil found me. The Langes really do stand out.

It was a fun day. Irip set the pace which was really fast and loose. Phil kept that up after Irip left us We skied really fast with not a lot of stopping. Amazing that we all kept together. Conditions were really quite good. Phil, His son Ty, and I never took a break and after back to back runs on a nicely bumped Outer Limits my legs were baked at about 2PM. I went in and had a burger then hit a couple cruisers before driving home.

Always good to meet fellow bears and tear up a hill with some good skiers. I t was also a great feeling to be in Vermont in mid-winter.

Can't wait to do it again

Thanks to philpug, iriponsnow, crank, tyler, Dave from Machias, and 2guys from Ma (sorry forgot your names), for a good day at Killington. It was an educational (and humbling) adventure for me and one I shall not quickly forget. Dave from Machias gets a special thanks for getting me through a fearful experience on outer limits. The new signature says it all.

That Dave was Dave Warren, a buddy of many years of mine from Maine. HE is old school PSIA, grandfathered in as a LIII. He is a total PITA, that would give you the shirt off his back.
