Steamboat 1/3 through 1/8 (pics)

Just got back from the boat today went with my college's ski club and had a really bad experience with United but thats a different story.

First day we were there, there was a lot a hardpack all over, all the black runs were solid moguls all the way down and the trees had thin snow cover in a lot of places.
Second days we had like 10" of fresh overnight and it was still snowing so that was a great day. Some of my favorite runs became the one's accessed off of the Pony Express lift as there was never a line and runs like middle rib and longhorn were great. By the end of the day the trees still had some untracked powder in them.

The rest of the days it snowed a little each day, but I don't think we ever saw the sun the whole time we were there. Good and a bad thing at the same time. Also, the clouds were low enough to make some very flat light and foggy conditions at times.

Overall it was a good time. Great tree skiing, great natural terrain park type features all over. Also the to runs like east face and north saint pats and the chutes were great after the snow. Only thing they need is some bowls.

One of the chutes

My friend jumping a big rock

Fresh pow in the pines

Beautiful trees after the snow

Me jumping a little cliff/rock thingy.

Did you guys happen to hit up Christmas tree bowl? I was at Steamboat a few years back and that was one of my more favorite runs. Also, are those pictures of Chutes 1,2,3? If I remember correctly...Chute 3 was a good one and STEEP. How's the cover over on that side of the mountain? Thanks.
