Funny...
While I was home (Maine) for X-Mass I just put mine on...
then it poured Friday night/Saturday morning, with temps in the high 60's.

Sorry everyone.

You should also try washing your car along with throwing on the street tires...

Washed it yesterday...not enough...all it brought was rain last night.

I predict eastern snow between 1-17 and 1-24. Not predicting how much, just that some will fall.

For 3 years now, when I go west, the east gets snow! (the west has too!---I'm an equal opportunity "jinx") I get weather related delays---you'uns get skiing.

Leaving a week from Wednesday! Make plans to put those tires back on before that weekend---you may need them.

How about your box? I think if you really want to "throw down" with ullr, you need to go all the way.
Take your roof box off your SKIBARU, put your ski gear in storage, have your ski clothing dry cleaned, THEN, and only then will ullr take you seriously.

Dear Phil:

In addition to what TC has already listed, you've got to put your skis up on blocks in dry storage for the summer months. Then and only then will we get "dumped on". If you do the above, I will follow suit and do my part as well. (however, please note that I don't have a box on top of my SKIBARU, I carry my skis inside).

Won't work, Phil -- I have 3 cars that I usually mount with winter tires, and I only mounted them on one of the cars so far. In fact, my two newest vehicles are the ones with high performance summer tires!

In sympathy, I will put the other 2 snows on to match the set as this may have set off an undesirable chain reaction.

Think your trip will do anything for the midwest?
We put the snows on December 19, hoping for a White Christmas (you know, the positive thinking thing). So far we are still waiting.

I did do another top down tour in the Saab to the train station to pick up the daughter today, got lots of looks from the other motorists...

I am routed through Ohare. ALL my (recent) weather delays of any significance have been in Chicago.

Does that help?

Ullr's a pussy.
I don't think he can make it snow in the midwest.
What's wrong, Mrs Ullr cut your balls off?
I'm going mountain biking.

I will not be able to ski this weekend, I am visiting family in southern NH. My husband will not be skiing, he is in training for his senior patrol certification. Therefore, IT WILL SNOW AND BE AN EPIC WEEKEND FOR THE REST OF YOU!!! For you all: For my husband and I: :

By the way, it is flurrying like crazy here at my house. It stopped for about 2 hours, but now it's back!

Check out the Jay photo I posted here:

Phil was your gauntlet for snow in VT, where you usually ski, or in PA, where you live? This may be confusing ULLR:
