Going to SOlden / Soelden in Austria in a few weeks. Hopefully the snoe will be better by then by they also have 2 glacier skiing areas.
Does anyone know if these are reachable on the normal ski pass or do you have to go separately ?

In the past the glacier stayed closed during winter but when conditions were bony they used to open it up (without extra charge as far as I'm aware).

Just got back from there about 2 weeks ago. The lower portions of the glacier are open and are serviced by both chairs and t-bars. The highest t-bars was closed.

One suggestion: try out Hochgugle. It is a little further up the valley and although it was smaller, it had less crowds and I thought it had better snow and more advanced skiing.
