Was just reading Bicyclekick's post where he mentioned building a jump that got demolished. I hate that. I was out on thursday. Built a small "Training" jump for myself. A couple of snowboarders were hastling me about how small it was from the lift. (rekindled my hate of stupid people who won't learn to snowboard/ski) the right way. They went out and built an awesome jump which I throughly enjoied. I was just getting good when the ski patrol demolished it! It was off to the side of a beginner run where it posed no hazard. In fact, it was just before a steep portion where no beginner would have ventured! How do you feel about the killing of jumps? I agree that if they posed a hazard they should be destroyed, but I think some patrols take it to an extreme.
