Crowds at Sun Peaks, Late Feb Early March?

We're considering a trip at the end of Feb/early March to Sun Peaks

I am curious as to the crowds there that time of year.. I'm not sure when the Canadian school holidays are, and how the crowds at these places compare to the crowds at the major US resorts that time of year..

any help appreciated

I believe the BC Break begins March 19th, Alberta is first week April, U.S. Prez week is popular too. Ontario breaks Mar. 12th and many will head west. Even so, we were there last March Break and lineups were never long - at most 15 minutes at base in morning rush.

D3T0 has the info correct. The 15 minute wait is only at the most extreme high season points. The resort added a new quad chair (the Elevation chair) that allows you to ski higher areas of the mountain and not have to return all the way to the base to get another chair. I have shared the chair this holiday season with people from the USA, Austrailia, and the UK and all of them commented about how short the lines were: one Aussie said that she might wait for five minutes in a lift line but that she could find runs that were virtually hers alone. That might be overstating it at peak season, but if you come for the end of February and the first week of March, you will find it to be close to that, particularly mid-week.
