Touring with a group of pros.

This is mostly directed to Bob Peters, Bob Lee, and others I have toured with.

I toured today with 3 winter climbers/mountaineers who successfully climbed Denali and one semi-pro big mountain skier.

Well, Put Another Way

Today I toured with Klaus, John, Russ, and my son.

It was a good day, we skinned up to meadow chutes, skied down to Days Fork, skinned up Days Fork to the top of West Bowl, and then skied down.

Heh, that's one way to look at it. I would have said that you toured with some classic skibums, including strong dirtbag elements. I guess there's some overlap. Did you have to provide showers this time too? Nonetheless, sounds like a great day.

And pics, got any pics?

Yeah, I've got a few pics from the very top of the ridge of Silverfork West Bowl. I've just got to load the software to download the pics. No showers were needed as we had hot tub and showers the day before and these "pros" certainly weren't going to bathe two days in a row :

Hmm I wonder where you came up with the image of dirtbag/skibum for these guys BTW, my son does shower every day (I hope) :.

Also, as it was Klaus' first day out this year (hard to believe) he skied back with my son (who had to get to work to support his skibum life) and Chava Girl from the top of meadow chutes so only John, Russ, and I are pictured at the top of West Bowl. My plans were really to take lots of pictures of Chava as she was far and away the best looking in the group.

Hee, hee.

I'm wondering how the Silver Fork nuclear toilet is doing. :

It sounds like the kind of day every skier should experience. Nice work, Si.

Say "hi" to everybody for me.
