north summit snowfield

Thread Starter
moonlight opened up the north summit snowfield last year. I see on moonlights website that the resort is offering guide services for the snowfield and headwaters area.

has anyone skied the snowfield? and is it worth the money for guide service to ski it?

I guess it all depends on what money is worth to you.

To ski the N. Summit, you need a beacon, shovel, probes and partners. If you don't own that gear and don't want to buy/borrow/beg the gear. Well?
If you have never skied the area, there is a bit of route finding involved, but its not a gnarly alpine ordeal. A guide might be nice.

Like I said, it all depends on what money is worth to you. See ya.
