Aside from the boot/binding fit Q, and how highbacks match up to calves, etc., "good riders" also like different things. Some like a rigid carbon highback, some don't, some like stiff boots and less-responsive bindings, some vice versa, etc. etc. Taking the kids to a good shop with a good range of bindings, which you should have in your metro area, or waiting until you go on vacation somewhere and doing it there, will match these variables up much better for you than online.
