I am sure you can get a good "last minute deal" anywhere in VT right now.

No doubt. There are vacancy signs out on the mountain road in Stowe today.

I wonder if the Stoweflake will give me my same room. Do I hear "Road Trip!!!"

My standards have obviously been slipping this year, but today was pretty sweet at Stowe.

I think winter is about to begin. I hear next week will be warm but it is building slowly. A few, three more weeks and we'll be in the woods.

ET, glad you had a good day. Tell us more.

Stonethrower - Jay has been running local (NH/VT) TV ads for $39/day if you show a pass from another area. They don't usually do this 'till March...

I'm guessing that 8" of what I want to call powder fell during the day. It was heavier than powder, but still dry and floaty. I managed to keep my group of kids in position to keep taking advantage of patrl dropping ropes and we got first (legal) tracks on Liftline which was over my knees. We then had similar runs on National and Nosedive. We're gonna need a few more feet before we go into the woods though. Trust me on this...

I saw Epic with his kids when we were up there. They follow him around like puppies and they acted like sponges taking in the info. I recall having a conversation with Epic on how he was worried about planning his own ski vacation because he didn't want to leave his kids with anyone else. That is an instuctor that loves his job.

If I remember correctly, you offered me an opportunity to be one of your "ski wee"'s. Is the offer still good? I think I can catch a flight
