Anyone skied any of these lost hills?

C'mon, gotta be some Texans out there.

Whoever took that photo not only has an innate understanding of proper framing, but also a clear grasp of the subtle interplay between an intense, but not overpowering foreground and the more restrained and contemplative forces at work in the background.

Quick question Mescalero,

Would the picture you have be coming off of Tesuque Peak? Reminds me of Ski Santa Fe.....

What is the status of that ski area near Tucson, AR. I think it got caught in a forest fire last summer? Did it reopen? Anyone ever been there? Any good? (Lemmon)

I proudly skied at every one of these now defunct ski areas except for "Spring Tree" and the resort outside of Questa "Singing River". I skied Sugarite but don't think I hit "Raton Pass" never even heard of it. I continue to hear rumors about reopening "Ski Rio". Has any one else heard these rumors? If I remember right Powder Puff was marketed as a beginners hill. Still don't know why you needed a beginners hill in a town that already had Red River. In reference to the Tuscon Ski Area article, I thought Ski Apache was marketed as the southern most ski area in the country.
