Are the Lotta Luv skis too wide for East Coast conditions (and our one yearly trek out west)?
Are there any differences between the 05-06 vs the 06-07 K2 BL or LL models?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, I have to say, I've really enjoyed the Burnin Luv, and wouldn't rule it out of my quiver, but I did find some limits with it after trying another ski.
I'm 5'6" 130lbs, the BL I have is 167cm
The Burnin Luv makes its way through the crud okay(tho that is not its specialty) it has great edge to edge transition, edge hold is just what you're looking for on an East coast ski. The place where it gets uncomfortable is when you kick up the speed, which is something I didn't find on the 375 ft vertical at my home hill.
One of the guys I was skiing with switched skis with me for about 1/2 run. He may be able to give some input also....if he wants people to know he tried a girls ski
Currently I'm working on speed control, and getting the new tools from ESA put into application.
If you're interestd in my BL's send me a PM. I seriously have only skied on them about 5 times.
