Hit Breck on Sunday with dawnhill, Jason (non-Bear), Mr. Vertical, and Mr. Vertical Jr.

It was brutally cold and windy in the morning, but got a bit warmer later on. A few inches of fresh.

Warmed up on groomers on Peak 9.

Devil's Crotch was superb -- one or two turns at the top were icy and bare in spot, but the rest of the way was soft snow . Hit Imperial Bowl next. It was very bare, hard, and wind-blown on top and required careful navigation. The bottom half was in good shape with soft stuff. The best snow was under Chair 6 though. Hombre was great -- tracked out powder -- soft and fun to play in.

Headed over to Peaks 8 and 7 after lunch. Mostly hard snow on the groomers and also on ungroomed like Little Johnny. Ore Bucket had good, deep and soft snow though, until we got to the run-out at the bottom -- a veritable minefield of exposed rocks and stumps.

Not too many pics from the day...

Looks good Faisal. Enjoy the pow as much as you can this weekend! We'll be out there soon to partake in the fun.

Had to get the Ski 3 pass since the CO Pass won't be sold anymore for the year. I'll just have to get tix for Vail or BC as I need them.
