I ski Metrons that I really enjoy but they are relatively fixed in their turn shape. There are times I would like to make softer turns, slide through moguls and make a quick skided turn in trees. Some reviews note that a more narrow tail compared to tip allows for a little more flexibility in the turn shape. Since I can't modify the skis shape can I accomplish a similar effect by detuning a short section of the tail? How much would I detune (dull) to make them a little less carvy? Maybe an inch or two?
