I suggest treading lightly...
Oh lordy lordy!!!!! Don't send the cop's for me!!!!!

Hey.....I suggest you be less lame....alright? I don't know how it works in UT, but in VT poaching is not illegal as far as anything I've ever heard. It is typically against ski area rules, but enforcement varies. Enforcement at Killington is light, and typically the patrollers are chill. But that's a mute point.....the point is to not get caught in the first place.

There are signifigantly less dangers on closed trails in VT.....hence, no law.

We do have a law saying that you have to use the safety bar though, make sure you obey that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen recent pictures of Killington, but my impression is that you guys are way short on snow. Closed areas off-piste should be quite an adventure.

Does this clinic include coaching on ski base repair?

I'm pretty sure that is a safety chain you are yanking.
Be careful out there, I think you hooked a live one.

Actually, the base is quite reasonable above 3500ft. They had several trails open on natural snow only. There was base on friday, even before the 6" over the weekend. This rain that came through was a mix on the hill, and hopefully it sets up good before melting too much.

Why poach when you can seek inbounds excitement. You ski with me and you DON"T get to SHOP FOR BUMPS without the sissy comments. I always select the toughest most technical line. Want to ratchet it up a bit, no poles is the way to go. I never poach as I have a fiduciary reputation to uphold.

Let me cut through the crap and say we need more skiers like HS that are willing to offer their knowledge and experience to others.

Heck, this is a free clinic.
when was the last time any of you offered to teach for free?

Quit being so mean, you meanie pants poopy head critics (gee, was that too offensive to the "moderators"?)

Is this thing still on for Sunday?

I agree, but there are a few liability issues with the way HS is doing things.

Pick any "Let's Go Colorado" event and any official "Epicski Gathering" and you shall find what you seek....feel free to join in.

You mean other than Larry, his brother Darryl, and his other brother Darryl, or the occasional stray cow escaped from Ben & Jerry's?

whens the last time a avalanche happen "inbounds" in vermont? yeah Utah does not = Vermont. The danger at nearly east coast resort is very moot compared to LCC.

Yes I have poached countless time on the east coast, but would never out west. Hell I yell at people when they dont go though gates in to controlled areas.
