Bought a pair of last years blizzard titan 9 (188) a few weeks ago. Today I found a good deal on some atomic suggar daddys (183)with bindings so I ordered them. Im only going to keep one of the skis. Any ideas on which I should keep.

Perhaps you could clarify why you bought the Atomic Sugar Daddy's and then posted on here as to whether or not you should keep them. :

Have not mounted the titans yet and the suggar dadys came packaged with the bindings that I wanted to get for a really good price. Im trying to find which ski is better, for all conditions.

JP:

perchance where you bought you 188's, did they happen to have any of the 181's laying around?

Gonna man up and talk him out of the 188's?

i dunno.

I've only skied one set of planks in anything greater than a 180 (rode a pair of 185 M:EX's last season...a bit unwieldy for my taste).

I'm still working out the kinks in my 180 No Ka Ois (dem is some stiffys).

Curious to try something else in a 185 and even a 188 to see if I can indeed man up, though (177 is starting to feel short or maybe I've just let the TGR maggots get to me over the summer).

If I were you I would ski the blizzards. But then again I'm not you.

It seams like not to many people have skied these skis that is why it is a hard to decide.

the titan 9 is going to be more ski. Its stiffer throughout and longer. Its also heavier.
The sugar daddy is softer in the shovel, lighter and probably easier to ski. Both are great skis.
What have you had? What did you like in the past? What didn't you like in the past?

I skiing on a new pair of Sugar Daddys and they're the best skis I've ridden. Great on powder, hard packed and crud. I also found that these skis were easy to carve and had great control with speed. Atomic would be my choice.

my vote goes for atomic

jpsb, if you rip (or if you're big) keep the nines. If you don't quite rip yet (or if you're small) then go for the sugar daddys.

How much you want for the 188 Piss Green Titan 9's?

Those will end up being a classic GREAT SKI? they are becoming rare.

The question is can you ski them?

You should keep both.

I need skis that rip,I ski incredibly hard. My other pair of skis are K2 seth pistols and I need a replacment. Just had to helli coil my back bindings.
Plus im 200lb 6.1ft. So then maby I should keep the titans?

these skis will be stiffer than the seths but I think for a hard charging 200lb guy these are definently better than the atomics.

Off topic:I am on the look out for a cheap lime green titan pro if you see one let me know
