Congratulations to Bumpdad who slipped the following news into the "have you skied yet?" thread. Great news, and hope you are able to get back on the slopes soon.

There are few things that make me weepy, but a new baby in the arms of loving parents really gets to me.

Congratulations! May your baby love the bumps as much as you do!

Outstanding news! Nothing more cool than dad and daughter relationship. In my case I was blessed with 2. Take lots of vid’s and snaps because time moves very quickly as I’ll never forget when my girls showed me how to huck my first 10 footer; they laughed so hard they peed their pants but always speak of their dad as a hero. Teach her well.

Oops, sorry guys. My partner is the new dad. My post was written poorly and easily misinterpreted. He is a great guy and his wife is lovely as well. He is soo excited to be a new dad. Thank you all for your thoughts and I will pass them on to the new, loving parents.

My girls are 15 months and 4.5 years and are such a joy. We shall see if there is a third coming, but my wife said "Definately not until after this ski season." She was out two seasons ago and skied only 8 times last year.

I am touched by the emotions even though I'm not the new dad. I am sure that my daughters will love the bumps, and soon enough, be making me take some lines I would rather not. :0

Hey, we probably missed the announcement 15 months ago. I still haven't been congratulated for mine here (although the youngest is 21 ). Anyway, congrats to your friend, and its not too late for you to collect some good vibes for being a relatively new dad. You have much to look forward to.

Carry on.
