Colorado Options: Driving times, ect

I will be in Colorado (Colorado Springs exactly) from Dec 12 - Jan 1 and I was planning on taking a 3-4 day trip "into the mountains" to 1 or several mountains.

I was wondering if you guys knew of any drive times to some of the resorts from Colorado Springs. I'm debating going to the Breck, Keystone, A-Basin area or maybe to the Aspen/Snowmass area.

Also, if anyone has some suggestions of where to go, or lodging etc please feel free to speak up.

Welcome Pete.
Use something like yahoo maps to get more precise info, but from CO Sprgs to Summit County is ~3 hours, to Aspen ~6 hours. Probably closest place to you will be a medium size, but very nice area called Loveland, about 2:15 hrs from CO Springs. Also, Monach in different direction from the others is about 2hrs.
What's your lodging budget? There are plenty of fairly affordable chain motels and condos along I70 in Summit County. Aspen will be more pricey, but you could do a long commute from cheap motels around Glenwood Sprgs. Use epic ski search function to get more info on all of this, esp lodging.
