Help with ski size in Line prophet

Thread Starter
I am looking forward to purchasing the Line Prophet 90's. I am having slight trouble in deciding what size to buy. I am 6'2 175, I am a expert skier that likes to ski all over the mountain. I will be skiing out west and out east and I like to have a one ski quiver. The two sizes that I am trying to decide on are the 179's and the 186's. The prophet twin-tips make it smaller so am I having trouble. The specs for the skis are

125-90-113

The running surface is 1483mm for 179
The running surface is 1542mm for 186

The trouble is that with the twin tip how short do the skis actually ski?

If anyone has any experience with the line prophet your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Matt

186 for sure. East or west if you are an expert you should be able to handle the ski easily, lines are generally not the hardest to ski skis. With only a 90mm waist you will apreciate the extra flotation of a 186. With the 179's you will likely experience some tip dive. When in doubt go longer
