My sense is that the strong trend with skis of this genre is to go lighter, lower and flatter with bindings. And to use some judgement WRT mount point as well. I could see adding weight/height for a Railflex, Neox or maybe Sollie demo binding if you wanted to be able to play with boot center or sole length easily. However, if you know where you want them mounted and don't plan on sharing with random folks, it seems to me the 912 is the hands down winner here. Especially if the brakes fit... I have no anti-Marker bias per se, but everything about the Marker piston seems a "meh" choice at best for this particular application... Why get a ski that is presumably going to be used as an all-mountain/off-piste twin and treat it like a slalom or narrow hardpack ski?????
