got the daily skiutah.com email, and reosrts are reporting between 17 and 23 inchs. Brighton getting the most, Alta with 19, The 'bird' says they have 17 in. new.
Mean while here on the So. shore of Lake Tahoe, we did'nt get the 1-18 nchs they called for. LOTS OF WIND, maybe 5 inchs on new at the top of Kingsbury.

PCMR got about 8" at the base and report 17" on top. Still a lot of meadow grass showing. They have two lifts and two runs open. I'd hoped for more. Took some turns on what they have and it's quality stuff- cold and nicely rolled out fresh pow- no pow shots open though- I saw three people who hiked up and got the shot I was planning on.... We need to wait for the second half of the storm- tonight and tomorrow.

I just got down from skining McConkey's from the Empire side. Waist deep in places. Nice & fluffy. Cold.

Took it as a good sign that neither you nor Mr. Crab had posted this morning. It is curious that PC is reporting only 7" of fresh. I watched the webcam pretty obsessively all day. It seemed like it was whiteout conditions at times, and pretty much fell all day. I would have thought at least double that amount, like "waist deep." Wonder how long it will take for Jupiter lift to get up. Thanks for the updates.

More open today at PCMR. there was about two feet of blower pow in Blueslip bowl. Oddly, people ignored it for a long time, maybe because there was pow on the groomers, or the boarders couldn't make the short traverse and hike. Too bad ...! Lots of folks skinned up past the lift. Not that there was lots of anybody out. Bitter cold. I took a pic or two, I'll download them and see if they're worth posting. OK- here we go..

I was at The Canyons today with the artist formerly known as Inspector Gadget. Nice conditions... just like Mr. Crab's photos.
