This is embarassing, but...Jiminy Peak

Jiminy Peak opened today and I just happened to be there.

If this report is too lengthy please bear with me since I am reviewing every trail.

The day was clear blue and 50*. No lift line and 1050' of vertical from the six pack. The boy (matt) and the girl (abbey) and I did about 7 or 8 runs.

It was North Glade to 360 with on average 35' of width. Some spots showed brown through the snow and the edges were 'death cookies'. There were boarders out of control, one of which hit abbey. I yelled at the little $hit and the girl that hit him and caused him to hit abbey. Abbey was embarassed and later appoligized for her dad's behavior.

What a great day! Conditions were perfect and everyone had a good time. I got to ski on my new Top Fuels - but they don't look new now. They rip, they're quick and they appear to do a nice GS turn as well. They went into Dan DiPro mode in the mini bumps and were impressive - I wasn't.

They better make more snow tonight or the paying customers will have to walk! See ya there tomorrow.
