All of the top can be a lot of fun, especially if the snow is good. To get to trails like No Names, East Face, etc, there can be some hiking, not much though. And I have to admit, there are not really that much steeps in bounds here, but if you can find someone that knows the backcountry, there is some great skiing. In bounds, the steeps we have do tend to be kinda short, and do require a bit of a chairlift "shuffle", but with the right conditions they are a ton of fun.
In-bounds, and not up by the Chutes, there are a lot of great tree runs, and I can tell you first hand that I found waist deep pow in a few stashes 4-5 days after a storm last year. The trees here are great and a ton of fun even though the terrain is not always super challenging.
Also, as far as cat-skiing goes out here, I haven't been, however, I saw the pics from an adaptive groups (full able mono and bi-skis with and withough guides) cat skiing, and they were in snow that was over their heads at times last year (literally). Also, one of the guys in the group had such a blast that he is trying to convince her that they need to move here.
