No issues at all, I chose the name "Old School" in honor of my old school...
You see, I raced for the Smith College varsity team in the "randy Eighties". It was a wonderful, experimental time.
After four years I graduated and moved out to Mount Never to train at the Big Sister Downhill Center.
Catherine MacKinnon and Andrea Dworkin were my coaches, and though they could be tempermental and loose with the truth, I learned quite a bit under them.
Soon though, I tired of the constant competition and hierarchical ranking model, so when I met Audre Lorde at the Playboy Mansion and she tipped me to freeskiing, it seemed to be just
what I needed.
I returned to the BSDC and told Dworkin I was dedicating my life to freeskiing. Though she insisted that "all skiing is racing", I left and have never looked back.
Today, I am content with freeskiing's refreshing freedom from the racing world's all-enveloping sense of conquest. It's a feeling everyone should know.
So, Sky Diver, I invite you and Burka to come out from under the veil of humourless race-based skiing and wander with wonder through the boundless white of freedom.
Whaddya say, hotstuff?
As for you trekfreak - your overt aggression and pathological compartmentalization of people is highly disturbing. Come near me and expect a pepper-spray facial, girlfriend!
