yea, for workout music, you basically need hard-hitting euro-dance music.... nothing else does the job really. Search around on itunes for "euro club hits" or check this link:

I won't go skiing with an i-pod, but I have found myself singing while going down slopes. At one point, going down a difficult slope (for me that is), I found myself singing 'Almost Blue' by Elvis Costello.

The funny thing is making a bit of a mockery of the slope really helped me relax and ski better!
