Dynastar TroubleMaker mounting point

I didn't want to hijack the other thread, so I started a new one.
I recently bought a pair of Troublemakers from SAC for my wife. They are the white with red flames, I think from 2005. There is no mark for the mounting position. There is an x with a circle around it, with a 3,5, indicating which drill to use, and the 155 (indicating the size) is dead center of the running surface, in the middle of the ski, but that is it. Any opinions would be appreciated. She would be using these skis on the east coast, on soft days, as an all purpose ski.

Need more information about her size and ability. Which bindings?

I've learned from other threads here at epicski.com, that ball of foot on center of running surface is usually a good idea. I wouldn't stray far from that. Maybe a little forward for the park, sliding rails, riding switch. A little back for powder. For east coast, soft snow/all-purpose I'd go BOF/CRS.

Find the ball of foot by putting on boot and tapping the bottom with a ball peen hammer until she feels the hammer on the ball of her foot.

Take them to REI. They'll know.

Be real sure to tell them first that you want the bindings on top and facing forward.

there should be a little "bump" near the middle of the ski to indicate the mounting point it is barely noticeable but an experienced tech should be able to find it
re: ball of foot mounting don't bother with the TMs as the layup/sidecut of the ski is not traditional and your wife will not like you anymore...centre of the boot/centre of the ski(factory mounting point)...

Thanks Waxman, I see it now, with the wrapper still on it, it's tough to see. That's what I was looking for.
BTW, I've been mounting bindings for 20+ years part time.
