Help me pick an east coast ski

So I'm looking for a good ski for the east coast conditions (packed powder, ice, etc.) This will suppliment my Solomon Pocket Rockets which will be my west coast/powder ski.

Here are my specs:
5'5" & 150lbs. male
Fast and Agressive skiier that can ski all terrain. (except moguls

Here is what I'm looking for:
Inexpensive - I don't need the latest technology or the hottest graphic. I'm going to be buying the skis off Ebay. I'm really looking for "last years model". Under $300 or less on Ebay would be ideal.

Not to fat - Keep in mind these are going to be for packed powder and that east coast ice. I've got the pocket rockets for the powder days.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I think the Elan Fusion S12 is God's gift to Eastern skiing.

These look great, but are pricier than the Fischer recomendations I got.

As far as twin-tips go...Last years Line MTX Assassin Pros are pretty sick for the East (117/80/105). They are stiffer than the regular Assassins and should be pretty cheap if you can find them. Ski Review

Also, I had a pair of Dynastar Candides, which I loved to ski out here in the East...a little thinner underfoot as the assassins. These are pretty hard to find considering they are 01/02.

I don't really need them to be twin tip's. I'm not really into jumps and tricks.

I would jump on Robscape's RX8's. Would do it myself if I hadn't picked up some Supershapes on this forum last spring.

Anyone try any of the Head Monster's?

Tried 'em all. The ones that will be closest to your price range are the Monster 70's they are nice skis but not as good as some of the other skis you are looking at on hard snow. The high end monster models are great skis but are wider than you need and likely to be more than $300.

If you are more interested in the Head brand than Fischer, I can highly recommend the XRC 800 as a narrower waisted ski with very good edge grip. I don't know what they are going for however.
