Fisher RX6 vs Salomon Crossmax 10

Between those, which is a better all-mountain ski?
The demos i'm looking at are both 2004-2005 models.
I don't do any jumps.
I want good performance on groomed runs and powder. They will be used for groomed intermediate mostly, maybe a few double blacks.

bcguy_99, welcome to EpicSki!

Those two skis will both ski well in the conditions you are discussing, but they will feel very different. The Salomons are classic damp French skis while the RX6s are light-and-lively Fischers. So, a big part of this will be the feel that you prefer. Energetic or damp?

Fischer RX 6!

I love them. They're my first pair of skis, I bought them last winter. I'm a relatively new skier and these are great. They turn themselves.

Welcome to Epicski you're in the right place.

I'm a bit biased. I spend last year on Fischer RX-9's and love them. I just picked up a new pair of RX-8's for this year.

For performance on the groomers there is no question in my mind: RX-6. I've heard it described as 85% of the performance of the RX-8 for half the price. Have fun.

Oh, by the way, there's a pair of older model RX-8's for sale here quite reasonably. They're the red and black ones, but the construction hasn't changed.
