How many ski days so far?

I'm curious about how many times people have been skiing so far this season. I will save the excuses but my pitiful total is 1.

I thought las weeked would have been 13 day's but my son pointed out that it was only 11 day's so far. I'm behind last years count by at least 4 day's. I'm bummed.

What a bunch of crack addicts - look at how many are more than 6! 10 days in front country - 1 in backcountry - with 7 in powder. What a start to the year

You need higher numbers in there... Today was 22.

ah, 22. now there's a nice year for some of us.

I've only made it out to the slopes once this year, but that number will increase dramatically very soon.

My local club only opened on Sunday, so that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it.

The question I have is does 7 days in Portillo in September count as the last days of last season, or first of this? Xdog and I have agreed that anything after July 1st is this season, so after today that makes it:

23 (1 heli and 3 Cat days in there).

Sadly, just 11 to date. But it is going to be a VERY good year for me. On track to set my Utah record. Still will be a long cry from the 120 day years I've gotten in the past.

I just logged day number 12. tommarrow will be number 13. early season conditions are the best they have been in years here in Utah.

21 _if_ 1-2 hours counts as a 'day'. I think 'riding a lift, actually on the snow counts as a 'day' but I have yet to get a precise ruling on that.

7 Inbounds, 8 OB.

A big whopping zero. :

In November, I took a Friday off to hit Killington. That Thursday is poured so I scrapped it. A few weeks ago the same thing happened. I missed the day of the huge dump a week ago this past Sunday due to family stuff. I was hoping to head out tomorrow, and what do we have today? You guessed it: rain. Unbelievable. I've had a lot of false starts this season...

10 and 7 of those were good powder days....just like today would be if I never had to work. :

Yeah I know. Based on this radar it seems there may be a fair amount of snow after the front passes...

WOW great site, I added it to my favorites.

From what I here Killington is in need of snow. The rumor mill is saying they are not making a lot of manmaid. Something about the snow making crew going home to South America.

PS: BTW, Welcome to Epic

As a now unemployed someone that lives 185 miles from my season pass area, I have 6 days in thus far. But what choice days most have been with 3 of fresh powder of at least a foot including one exceptional 5% day of 20-32 storm inches. With a 5+ foot base covering up all the rocks finally, no reason not to go more often now. Today I'll pick up the old skis from a fresh tune up and am working a bit on my boot fit. Will be ready for prime mid winter time. -dave

Thanks for the kind words. I hope you're referring to AlpineZone and not that Intellicast link....

It's the best early season I've ever experienced - both in quantitiy and quality. 7 days inbounds, 1 back country. At least 6 of the 8 would have to be considered powder days and you could easily stretch that to 8 of 8. This could be a year that truly lives up to my very biased memories (always thinking about the very best snow and lines) of past ski years.
