I've been using the Walk-EZ since its inception. I live in Val d'Isere where the streets are icy and lethal in the winter, My ski boot soles have full plastic bottoms with no rubber grips The Walk-EZ makes walking possible and safe . I like that they are easy to put on and take off (unlike 'skitracks') and that they bend (there is a hinge at mid foot) so that you can walk normally (once you get used to them). The downside is that they are somewhat heavy and need to be stored while skiing or locked up. I put them in my backpack. Unfortunately, they are no longer available in stores. I'm told that used ones can be found on ebay.
