Lateral Alignment

Thread Starter
A couple years ago, I had a cant installed under one of the bindings of my non-"system" Dynastar Skicross 9s, to correct lateral misalignment. I just picked up a lightly-used pair of Volkl 5-stars, with their rail-mounted motion binding. My question is: how does one add lateral alignment correction to a rail-mounted binding system?

Common sense says that I bite the bullet and get the bootsoles ground and get rid of the cant on the Dynastars. Am I missing any alternative solutions?

Any and all advice appreciated.

Go with boot cants. If you can, get some boots that have screw on soles because then you can easily replace the soles with new canting or if they get worn a bit you can put new canted soles on there with the correct adjustment.

Also with canted boots you can ski in any ski and never worry about it.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but I would guess there is no easy solution.
