I'll third the premature birthday (for my time zone)since this is a global community and our Aussie friends were thoughtful enough to start it now.
Cool . See when you belong to Epic your birthday gets the full treatment it deserves.
I hope your day(s) is filled with good times and a happy ending.

Happy 18th DD223 . I hope on your next break you can bust out of flatville and find some inviting snow.
Happy birthday kiddo.

my 'puter says it is his birthday NOW....

only 18 DD! : I can hardly remember back as far as my 18th... (ooohhh - hang on yes I can... I was building 2 boats and doing my final school exams and moving house all at once)

ENJOY it.... one day you will be 38 or 48 or 58 and look back on 18 and college and smile strangely... It is really not worth being stressed about any of it - just enjoy the ride, have a ball.... live life to the full...

Happy B-day doubleD. Hopefully this weekend has treated you well and proper festivities were underway for most of the day . Sometime this week I should have a late birthday present for you - consider the tune your b-day gift .

DD, welcome to adulthood, remember, growing old doesn't mean you have to grow up.

Thanks for all the well-wishes guys, I'll have some pics later on. My family drove up to celebrate and hang out, so that was cool. The weekend was largely debauchery-free, although that's really more due to the fact that I have a huge chem exam tomorrow than because of the proximity of my parents. (On that note, a certain plastic rectangle showed up a few days ago as well)

For now:

The place where we ate dinner makes you sit on a saddle and swing your napkin around while they sing an insanely loud rendition of happy birthday. Slightly embarassing, but it was fun.

Thanks dude, agreed on that. On that note, do any CO or UT bears have a couch to spare for a 1-weekish span between 12/14 and 1/3? (Not kidding...)

Thanks dude, I look forward to it. I avoided my dad's not-so-veiled question about the $550 withdrawal...

Happy 18th Birthday, DD.

Hmmmm,,, when I was 18 I desided to blow off colage so I could dedacate my efforts to ski racing. A grate desision that made me the people I am today; an empty poket ski bum giving lessons on the intronet.

Stay in skool, son.
DD, you don't need a tracking number. One of those waitresses will do nicely, and all you need is a pen to write the number on your hand.

Bonni, Bonni, Bonni, kids these days use cell phones to get phone numbers... they can't even write anymore. Then, to make matters worse, instead of calling you, they send you a text message so they don't actually have to talk either.

Nice pics DD. You look very happy and spent some time with your family. Hey could you post today so we know you survived ?

Maybe Bonni will post the lyrics of 18 by Alice Cooper and we can sing it with you, albeit from a distance.
I did indeed survive, although the chem exam I had last night did not go well, to spite 10+ hrs of studying.
Glad the hear the first . The second means you got some work ahead of you.
