A few Bears are planning to back at Loveland on Tuesday and Thursday next week. They will have one additional trail open by then.

Feel free to join mikewil and Rusty (I never speak my mind) Guy. You might even get a few laughs as Mike goes out with Bob Booker (Asst SSD at Loveland) for his first ever tele experience on one of those days. Nice to know Bob is Level 3 tele and alpine!!! However, I am stocking up on Advil in advance.

Mike,

It would be great to finally make some turns with you! The 26th will be my first day on snow this season and should be my first day in new boots after my initial fitting on the 25th. So, that might not be the day to get together ...ssh will be in a similar boat with his new shoes and we had talked about maybe A-basin. Maybe we can twist his arm to come to Loveland Thursday.

Rusy and Bob are a treat to ski with, eh

I'll be floating around 10/26-11/1, so maybe another day works also? When do the Tuesday night sessions start up?

Hope to finally make some turns with ya!

Chris

Hi Chris-
glad to here you will be in town this month. I am off on the 30th, and would love to meet up with you if you are skiing that day (with the usual caveat that I will be post-call, so an early start is never assured).

Yesterday at Loveland with Mike and Rusty, Rusty's daughter, and a few runs with Bob Booker was terrific- great conditions (if very limited terrain), but cold and windy. It's always an inspiration to ski with people like these- too bad that Bob B couldn't make it.

Yesterday also completed 2 years of my TAY streak. This season is shaping up really well!

Bob and I talked briefly about a start date for MA last Tuesday when we made a few runs at Loveland. We'll get together soon to finalize the details. I know he wants to shoot some video for educational purposes.

What would you like to see the sessions encompass? Bob definitely has ideas because of his involvement in the divisional education process and seeing the readiness (or not) of the candidate body.

I'll have to see where I stand on other days-definitely need to avoid weekends. I'm up to my eyeballs in a major painting project. I know Monday I plan to head to Denver to pickup a few catalog items at PSIA and do some sundry other shopping. One other day I may try to get down and tee it up!!!

Don't sweat the boot issue-as Tsavo would say-"Suck it up, buttercup"!!!

I'll be out of town on Thursday, but will definitely try to make it on Tuesday, at least in the morning maybe. I can feel a sickness coming...*cough* *cough*.

Well, bring the camera then, I'm not skeered. And you all can talk about me all you want when I go back to Ohio ...of course, he's got those PAS
segments, so I suppose he doesn't need any of me.

I just enjoy the sessions when I'm in town and able to attend. I am certainly not involved enough nor qualified to influence them in the least. I would like to sit in when I'm passing thru this winter, if there's room!

Yeah, Tsavo's right! ...and I'll do my best to: Ski Like A Girl I'll see if I can twist ssh's arm to make it a Loveland day on Thursday. What day are you skiing with the broken bindings?

Looking forward to seeing you again Mike_m. Maybe you could make a day at A-basin as well and we could pick up where we left off last spring ...have you heard from Al recently?

I plan to be in the cafeteria between 8:45 and 9:00.

I may have to run down to the shop if that becomes tele day or we alpine a few runs then go tele.

I should be able to make it up to Loveland on one if not both of those days. How will I know everybody? - that's if you don't mind my company?

Folks are talking about meeting upstairs in the cafeteria near the ski school desk about 9:15. We always sense who's a Bear! If in doubt, ask!
