Not working for me (need a newer version of Flash than our crack[smoking] IT department has installed).

Is it worth looking at? I know all ski mags are largely ad-supported, but I'm still even more skeptical of an entirely ad-supported pub.

I actually think SkiPressWorld's reviews are pretty usefull. A single-page view of their reviews are here, if you're able to view that any better. Gives you a good idea of what their reviews consist of.

pretty cool but not useful at all. I don't know about you guys but thats good for looking at pictures and nothing more. I can't read anything. I tried zooming in but it's too blurry. Better off just buying the mag.

You have to double-click on the page to be able to read it. It is a PITA, but the double-clicked zoomed image is readable.

The magazine is free. Most ski shops have stacks of them by the front door.

Interesting

The Canadian version includes the
Dynastar Speed Omeglass
Salomon Equipe GC
Salomon Rush 10
Salomon Streetracer 10
K2 Apache XTR

The race section is quite different
http://www.skipressworld.com/ca/fr/o.../0607_QC1.html

the park and freeride are identical except for colors.

Can't wait for the UK and D versions.

Ski Press

Thanks CJB!!

In my very humble opinion the Ski Press reviews are the BEST, bar none.

I have been waiting for this issue to hit...good job getting the word out.

Nice, I was wondering where the real race skis were. This gives me a good chance to keep all of those french clasees fresh in my head too!

I'm wondering what happened to the boot test, as all they have are crappy mid-level boots, whereas before they had all the way up to a plug test.

I also like thier reviews. I can't wait to get a print copy for myself, it is good bathroom reading.

Interesting that they didn't like the Volkl AC3 as much as everyone else seems to.
Maybe Volkl doesn't buy as many advertisements in Skipress
post #14 of 18
Yup. They're the real deal. More credible than anything else I've seen.

Interestingly, the Gotama's and Mantra's still seem to lead their classes. The AC4, not as much.

It's interesting to see that they tested the Metron B:5 for men in a 152??? I ski that ski in a 172. Predictably, it wasn't boffo on the scores.

Surprisingly, they seemed to prefer the Atomic M:9, an intermediate-advanced ski, for "expert" all-mountain performance.

The Fisher RX-8 was another stand-out in the carving class.

All in all, as good as it gets.

Take a look at the Gotama and Mantra ratings, and Auro for the chicks. Volkl does just fine w/o the ads.

It was just a joke.

Except for the EpicSki ones, I agree...

I noticed that the K2 Seth's were conspicously absent form the best buy category. Never skiied them but everyone I've talked to seems to rave about them, interesting. Any other skies left off the list that has anyone surprised?
