A cold fruity white works really well with Thai food. Might as well be cheap too, after the hot who cares?
Dinner with friends last night in London to say farewell (one of several such events before I fly back to Utah, hurrah, in 28 days!) which featured a magnum of this:
Which I was given for my 40th birthday. I had planned to drink it on my 50th next April, but I hope to be skiing (either at PCMR or the Bird) that day, and didn't want to carry it across the pond in my luggage! So I drank it with friends who would appreciate it.
It was very nice ...
Ragin the host had a Seventies rock band...they started the first set with the Dead's "US Blues." All the dope fiend commie hippies here wudduh loved loved it......jar done got me into baryard trouble....hee haw....
Some new, some old brands... But wine allways!!!
The new (at least for me!) Cave Lurton. Lurton reserva Malbec or Cabernet Sauvingon were two amaizing discovery from last September at Argentina and I do recomend.
Alsos, Finca Flichman - Fondo de Cave was a very very tasty Malbec option.
The better, its not expensive wines (about U$15,00-20,00).
I'm drinking beer, have no idea what brand. Look, most of the time, I check in on this thread and you guys are going strong, it's morning where I am, and I just want to write "coffee, water, water with aspirin dissolved in it." So indulge me.
Man, you're core! I'm drinking my morning coffee and you're doing single malts.
