No photo, but I just had a Nelson IPA from Alpine. Wowee.
What are you drinking, right now? - Page 157
I read your post about four times without understanding a word of it. Then I looked more closely at the photo and suddenly I got it.
I gave you thumbs up for everything but the beer!
Here's my favorite chicken roasting stand for grills. Really does an excellent job and keep the grill from getting all messed up. Also prevents flare ups. Fill the base with chicken stock and herbs. Helps to keep bird moist. Cover chicken once it browns up with foil, a 4 pound bird takes about an hour.
Although I've been educating myself in scotch. I'm working my way through Highlands, Speyside, and Islay and learning. The bottles are The Dalmore 12, Glenmorangie Original 10, Aberlour A'Bunadh, and Ardbeg Corryvreckan. It's interesting, but High West Rendezvous Rye is still my go-to these days.
Now this is pretty interesting. I was feeling like trying something new, so I took a chance on this after reading some reviews. It's made mostly from corn, but I guess it's distilled differently than bourbon. That, and it's made in Japan. Anyway, It's really nice, reminding me a lot of Stranahan's, just a little less sweet and a little (but only a little) lighter bodied, but with similar vanilla tones. It's my first Japanese whisky.
If you're a Stranahan's fan and you see this in a bar, you should try a dram.
But, wow, I had forgotten how amazingly good L is! Anearly perfect IPA.
