On www.steepandcheap.com they have Salomon 912's for $80 new. It come with a 70mm brake but a wider one can be purchased.

... and you probably only have a few minutes left before they're gone.

these will go fast.

And no, I didn't get any, although tempted, but I have 4 pr. of Drivers laying around.

They still have 52 pairs left, believe it or not.

I picked up 2 pairs for myself; I figure I'll need them for something.

Of course, I think that Evogear still has the Tyrolia Mojo 11 for $70, so that's a good option for most people once the Sollys sell out.

My guess is all the fashionable people don't want red bindings because these bindings are lasting outrageously long. They would look really tacky on my green B4s so I might swap them out with the black pair I currently have on them.

I just ordered a pair of the 912 and they still have some left. I guess I'll have to buy something to put them on. Isn't that a shame!!

How good a match would the 912 be on a pair of Volkl Mantra's?

Personally, I think the lift on the 912s is an ideal height for fat skis. (Other people prefer a flatter mount.) I have 912s with the same lifters as the bindings you just bought on my B4s and Pocket Rockets. The only problem I see is you'll have to pick up some fatter brakes somewhere.

I seriously considered them despite not having any skis incoming to use them on, but in the end decided not to get a pair (I was proud of myself for that one)

I made it three hours before cracking.
