Is there an hack that would let an user ignore a particular poster in only certain forums, but not in all?

I had to put Trotski on my ignore list because it was disturbing me to see my drawing used like that in his avatar. He can continue to use it.

Sometimes you want to ignore a thread, but it's like a car wreck and can't avert your eyes. for example, the Highwaystar MA thread.
