What happened to the contrast?

Why are we back to the low contrast style all of a sudden?

DD223,
You should see a drop down option on the lower left of your screen to choose the contrast you want.
I still have the contrast that I chose.

The upgrade appears to have removed whichever template option you had chosen (we upgraded to vBulletin 3.6.1 overnight). vBull does this kind of thing sometimes. It should have maintained that information, but obviously didn't. Apologies!

This should be fixed. Unfortunately...some of these customizations have to be re-implemented after each upgrade...

It isn't, as far as I can tell. Even when I change the drop-down to "higher contrast," I get no change whatsoever in the color scheme. I'm still in shades of blue with no white.

I fixed the higher contrast for now. I'll fix the "normal" contrast tomorrow. Right now normal and lower contrast are the same.

Who needs contrast? It's entirely too devisive, like people having different thoughts and/or ways of expressing. Polarized colors or tones ARE necessarily BAD. These things could possibly offend someone, and are not the vanilla on vanilla way.
