Can anyone tell me if they like any of these boots or if you could recommend anything that is roughly comparable to the above ones?
Try them on and see a good bottfitter (if you can). If you don't have access to a good bootfitter just get the best fitting boot.
You haven't given us any info on your foot so we can't recommend anything
The Hot Rod is the highest performance boot. The others are lower performance boots (although the Speed Machine should be a decent performer). I tried the Tecnica Mag and i can tell you that it is very roomy in the forefoot. It felt like a bedroom slipper and i would not consider it for aggressive skiing. I have a D width foot and the forefoot was just too wide for me.
The Rossi is very roomy. I have a friend who is skiing in the Rossi (he has a D width foot, too and exactly the same size) and although he is the correct size (2 sizes smaller than street shoe), he has to close the lower buckles to the end of the ladder). It's like trying the boot on myself. If you have a E+ foot it would be good. Same goes for tecnica.
If you're looking for the highest permance boot, this is your list.
1. Hot Rod
If the Hot Rod or SM fit your foot, don't bother with the others.
