July is for Mt Rainier or Mt Shasta!

Correction:

The (Greg) trinity* was in fact witnessed at A-Basin not Loveland.

I believe there was another sighting at Breck the day before!

I'm down for Mt. Shasta...that's practically my backyard (and it totally Merle Haggard's back yard).

Can we camp in your backyard, or failing that, Merle's?

last time i spoke with Merle (actually the only time) he was refurbishing his legendary houseboat.

i could try and track him down and see if we could have a ski party on the lake...

DP, did you ski with us at LGC3? If so, I apologize for not remembering you. Which day were you there?

I just spent 30 minutes on the Husqvarna website.

http://www.usa.husqvarna.com/

If they make trucker hats, I can't find 'em for the life of me.

They do make cool chainsaw helmets, though...VK you might want to invest in one. You'd bee "really" cool on the slopes with a bright orange chainsaw helmet (and you could augment it with horns for the added chic value).

Actually I was thinking of exactly the chainsaw helmet, the one with the lexan face sheild.

I think it would make quite the (anti-)fashion statement, and perhaps actually be useful for rippin' in the trees as well.

Does Merle need any brush cleared?

Hey S to the pencer ... way to embrace the "crap"!

That was a great time, even though we were only fortunate enough to two ski of the many events.

Sorry for the late reply… Been sunin it up in FLA.

To touch on a few more unmentioned but mentionable memorable moments:

It was never an effort to find Dookey on the mountain. Dookey’s efforts to match the color coordination of many of the local Vail “skiers”. The girls were
speechless.

DonDenver “stickin it”, when his ski pole slid from his grasp. More impressive was the endless diatribe that came with it.

"Trading" beads for chips in the elevator at Vail. : It was an unfair trade.

Skiing with the girls… & trying to ski like a girl

And you would have been welcome to ski these as well. The Atomic Race bindings are really easy to remount, it takes 10 minutes and a big screwdriver.

I could have sworn we talked about this? I think a reprise is in order. "Let's Go Race Colorado 3.5..."

I got the skis from Canada a few years ago, they are supposedly FIS stock leftover from the Canadian women's team. Now all we need to do is learn how to ski like girls...

It was last Thursday afternoon, right after the big storm. I was zipping up and down on my sl:11's, nobody else was there. I was surprised too, it's actually kind of pretty with no one on it.

Hi Kaj- I was supposed to but didn't make it. I ended up in Vail with my son on the day you guys were in BC, and didn't make it up for the big wedding day luncheon. Missed meeting and skiing with you- will you be around the rest of the season?
