So I think the big question here is....................

Who is the real Double D ?
well, since I didn't have the luxory/pleasure/displeasure of riding with your during my bumrush of LGC3 (5th-9th) the only "Double-D" I know is DonDenver (I have a habit of truncating a person's name and creating my own nickname for said person, thus DonDenver became Double-D by the end of our slope time together).

similarly, I became Dook, Dookster, Dookmeister, and innumerous other permutations of Dookey by the end of the trip (funny how nobody ever really glommed on to my birth name, but then again I told 'em all it didn't matter much to me what I was referred to as...go figure!)

The Last Supper…

…as we celebrate a great ski event. Cheers to next season!

(Actually, it’s not over just yet: . A Trip Report posted for Copper Mtn closing 4-15 exposes that Joan Heaton, Bklyntrayc, Tsavo, Betsy and I held over to get a few more runs in on Sunday)

Supper Gang:
Barry, DonDenver, Bklyntrayc, Viking (red cap), Helavaskier, HelavaskierDad, Joan Heaton, madmike, Mrs. madmike, SugarCube, Uncle Louie, Betsy, Tsavo.

You could always switch to JonDenver, but then your sandwich might get lost.

i have to say this about my LGC3 experience: riding with a group is a blast.

it actually makes going back to riding on the solo tip something of a bummer.

case in point, this past Saturday I drove up to Tahoe. totally unmotivated to go, other than the fact that i'd already loaded up the truck with my gear. got to Tahoe around 7 am to be greeted in Truckee by wet, non-stick snow. went back to bed. got up around 10:30. Still snowing. decided NOT to ski. Then my buddy called me and chewed me out for not skiing (needless to say, he wasn't skiing either). I got my stuff together and hit the slopes around 12:30. managed to squeeze out 5 runs before i got bored and lonely and retreated back to the cabin (the dust on death cookies didn't help, but if i'd been with a group i would have stuck it out for sure).

Sunday was much better as i managed to get my buddies Trevor and Jack out on the slopes. The day rocked, due to a combo of much better snow, but also having people to ride with. Comraderie on the slopes is truly something cool.

so, i just wanted to reiterate what a great time I had riding, apresing, etc. with all of those who were at LGC3 April 5th - 9th. Thanks for a memorable experience!

Don, How about D Squared then? LewBob

And Dookey, I have, in fact, forgotten your given name. But I haven't forgotten YOU! LewBob

The word on the slope was that John Deer hats are out, and STIHL hats are back in - that fashion trend was rebirthed by the man himself (SCSA).

Hey, I was thinking...

So I am sitting here in Omaha at my office looking at spring trees and green grass, and all I can think about is skiing.

So I was thinking, it's probably snowing in South America right now.

Anybody up for "Let's go Chile: I" ?

Astute observation Greg…I mean…HeluvaSkier.

Yes, for the first time I found that using actual Bear forum handles when calling out to one of you many “Greg’s” at Loveland sure worked "Heluvalot" better.

I reckon it depends on the precise semantics, doesn't it?

How big were those bumps?
