Is there snow on any parts of any mountains yet?? I know that it has already snowed in the Breckenridge area up high. I looked at Snowbird's 5 day forcast and it calls for snow showers through the weekend...I like looking at forcasts that include snow, promising.

2 to 9 inches of snow forcasted for the Wasatch Mountains tonight above 8,000 feet. I hope it's a good sign of things to come.

It's snowing on Mt. Hood right now! It snowed about 5+ inches today already and it's going to snow some more tonight down to 4500' level.

I might have to re-track an earlier comment I made about not skiing until mid-October and go sooner, possibly this Sunday...

Bridger Bowl & Big Sky are suppose to get a foot this weekend. I can see snow on the Bridgers from my house. I really don't care because any snow this early is only a tease. What I'm excited about is the cold, wet weather is putting out all the forest fires in the area. They are in too mountainous an area for humans to control so we have to rely on Mother Nature.

LOL Phil

There's a dusting this am on Big Mountain, and Big Sky seems to have some snow, web cams are kinda socked in.

This snow may be a "teaser" but I still love it just the same.

Ahhh...great news. Wish I wasn't stuck in the hot south- it has been in the 50's in the morning...today was around 90, super hot. Luckily the pictures are cooling me down.
