MOTHER OF GOD, I'M HAVING A FLASHBACK!!!Technique vs. Terrain: Gender issue?
Okay, as I gulp down my humble pie.....
Not sure I really feel that way anymore!
Most Influential : Last year's Academy
Other Factors: Ending up "by accident" in terrain thats beyond my ability, not skiing it correctly, but surviving anyway.
This is NOT the way I would want to ski all the time. But sometimes its important to learn that not all mistakes end up as a calamnity.
Also: Finding out what makes me tick. Given the right instructional cues, my confidence increases 200%.
As Gonzo says, challenge is relative. My only form of income is fitness instruction. Needless to say I am somewhat more conservative than someone who sits at a desk all day, but I am for the most part, braver than many of my younger colleagues.
