Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a pair of old salomon bindings. I'm looking for the old s997 or 977 equipes DIN to 14 (or higher if they make them). I don't care if they are on the indemnified binding list or not, just need a set of these clamps. Whatcha guys got??

A suggestion.

Do a search on eBay for thes bindings. I see them all the time and they usually go for a pretty low price.

so nobody knows where I can find a pair of these old bindings? none of you guys have any old solly race bindings?

How soon do you need them? I might work a ski swap in a few weeks and could probably find a pair on some skinny skis for cheap.

not soon at all. that would be really awesome if you could fine some. I'm looking for the 997 Equipe DIN to 14. don't need any kind of riser or anything like that, I'm just gonna mount them flat (but if they come with a riser I'll take 'em too, just ditch the plates when mounting). not looking to spend much more than $50, so if they are expensivo, I'm not that interested. don't need the skis either, so I don't want to have to pay too much for them.

where is the ski swap by the way? I've been trying to figure out when the swaps are around the front range (colorado), but haven't been able to find too much information. let me know what you come up with. maybe PM me before the swap starts just in case I find some bindings by then. Thanks in advance...

that is quite the dilema... you could always unscrew them from your skis and sell them to me...

Next gen after the 997. Supposedly good bindings in the non-Propulse variants. I have heard horrible things about Propulse, and TTBOMK, there is no way to remove it.

First of all, I was joking, hence the :. Second, I would appreciate if you would delete those links for ebay auctions just in case anybody around these parts is trying to win one of those auctions and doesn't want the added competition. Thanks for looking though...

bump...

also interested in 916's if anybody has a pair of them.

You might be in luck

I may have some of these back at my rents house. I'll look when I am home for the holidays. One thing years of racing is good for: Making a badass collection of old high DIN bindings.
I have a pair of yellow/black 957's. Let me know if they'll do.
I might have a pair of the 977's, I'll check when I get home this weekend. Whatever the model, I know that the are the demo version.

Blaze: let me know, I'm definitley interested

Alta: not sure If I want that old of bindings, but if the price is right I'll probably take them.

krp: thanks for the offer, but I'm not interested in the demo bindings
post #20 of 34
Also interested. Particularly in the 977 or s900 (and more particularly, in red :FIREdevil). Please shoot me a PM when you get back from the holidays (which I hope are very good for you), Blaze.

Edit: wide brakes are preferable also. These binders will be going on Lotus 120s, and bending only goes so far.

I'm gonna bump this thread since I got some new skis on the cheap at the end of the season.

Gonna need some new clamps for them so I might as well start looking now.

Anybody want to get rid of some 997 Equipes? Let me know...

Got the goods your looking for

Hey guys, sorry about the multi-month hiatus from barking bear. Got two sets of sollys with DINs to either 16 or 20. email blazerski at hot mail and I'll email you the pics. They aren't cherry, but we all know a fifty year old salomon spring would still kick Markers in the balls.

Thanks

I thought I would bump this thread and see if there is anything out there this year...

always looking for more clamps.

Thanks

How about some 727E's all metal and mint. So knar they predate DIN!
Go to your local ski swap and see if they have a discard bin. In Bozeman they don't allow anyone to sell skis with non-indemnified bindings on them so dozens of pairs of skis with old bindings are left outside for people to pick up for free.

no thanks on the 727s Phil

997's and 977's are both still indemnified bindings. The "local" ski shops aren't so local where I'm at, and I'd rather spend the two hour drive to go skiing rather than looking at ski stuff.

If anybody ends up at some swaps and see's some 997 Equipe or s900's (9-16 DIN) I'd almost certianly buy them if they were picked up for cheap.
