icansee... do you teach at Loveland? I get there as often as I can during the season, usually mid-week unless I'm on the road.
I remember a few seasons ago, our lesson group carried imaginary trays of martinis down the hill--the image was funny, but we knew had to concentrate on the task because no one dared spill a drop!
The tips about overcoming fear and initiating commitment are spot-on. While I've made tremendous progress, fear still bites me. The idea of focused distraction really helped me learn to ride horses and I like the concept for skiing too. Thank you!
