I posted a thread about a week ago on the sx:b5's and now basically I have to choose between those and the Elan Ripsticks. After realizing how stiff the sxB5's are I'm leaning more towards the Ripstick (they are cheaper as well). I ski all east coast all the time, 80% of the time its manmade snow with alot of ice...I also do the occasional NASTAR event here and there and race for my college team for fun. Would the Ripsticks do the job? If not, what's another multipurpose (almost) race ski? Thanks.
